To begin, you will need to install an authenticator application on your phone or browser. Some options are:
Clear cache on your laptop/computer. This procedure you need to do just once. Synchronize the time on your phone.
The most common cause for "Incorrect Code" errors is that the time on your Google Authenticator app is not synced correctly. To make sure that you have the correct time in your Google Authenticator app follow the instructions for your operating system below.
Go to your Profile - Account Settings and press button “ACTIVATE 2FA”.
Open up your 2FA mobile app and scan the following QR barcode or enter 16-digit code. That you will receive 6-pin code, that you should enter in field "code".(2)
Then press "Enable 2FA.'' (3)
WARNING: Back up your recovery key!
Backup your 16 digit key/ barcode and put it in a safe place. If your phone gets lost, stolen, or erased, you will need this key to get back into your STEX account! Without this key, the only way to regain access will be to open a support ticket. Account recovery without your 16 digit key can be a lengthy process. (1)
